Golfa Hall Preserves and Home has been designed and built around our vocational curriculum as our social enterprise business to provide practical experience and qualification routes. Pupils learn how to grow, design and make products that they can then sell. Here at school we are able to plant, grow and harvest nearly all the ingredients that go in to our range of condiments, chutneys, preserves and pickles. We also design and make products to decorate and enhance any home from materials such as oak and other reclaimed materials. We then sell them at local farmers markets and shops in the Welshpool and Oswestry area and now on our website for shipment anywhere.

Amberleigh Therapeutic School, Golfa Hall, Welshpool, is a therapeutic community which is accredited by The Royal Society of Psychiatrists. The school takes an accredited therapeutic approach to pupils’ teaching, learning and behaviour management and also within the community as a whole. Utilizing a specialist therapeutic pedagogy and curriculum.  The social enterprise business forms an important part of this function.
